State of Illinois Departments/Illinois BidBuy Users
BidBuy is a system that streamlines service, increases efficiency, and reduces costs in Illinois procurement. Login to Illinois BidBuy at https://www.bidbuy.illinois.gov choose "Advanced Search" using the gear icon. Choose "Blanket" and type 28118 to locate and review the contract documents. Illinois AED laws were enacted to protect organizations serving large groups of people. In addition to having AEDs, as of January 1, 2025, all schools in Illinois must also have a documented Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP). We can assist with your AED Program and your CERP with guidelines, training, and AED Program Management Software - all discounted to provide the best opportunity to prevent cardiac death.
AEDs are required in fitness facilities that serve 100 or more people. They should be wherever large groups of people congregate.
